FISCON Microphones
There are several ways to install a FISCON microphone:
- Into the dome light
- To the upper left edge of the front window
- Between tacho unit and steering wheel
- Close to the center rear view mirror
- Into the roof headliner
In our shop you can choose which microphone you want to get delivered with
your FISCON set. Some microphone versions require a price surcharge. Also you
can buy all microphones as a spare part.
We recommend the installation into the dome light or to the position at the
upper left edge of the front window. For technical reason it is not possible
to use the OEM microphone of the car manufacturer.

At a Volkswagen T5 it is required to verify if the dome light indeed
has a slot for the microphone. This can be recognised by a grid in the
light front panel. Otherwise use the Standard- or Universal Microphone.

With Volkswagen RNS-510 and Skoda Columbus with voice control the slot
for the microphone in the dome light is already occupied. In this case
use the Standard- or Universal Microphone. At a Touran before Facelift
2011, Caddy Life before Facelift 2011 and Octavia (1Z) it is possible
to use a
dome light with two slots for microphones to integrate both microphones
for voice control and handsfree at the same time.
